Polyquaternium 7 (Polyquat 7)

Polyquaternium-7 is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is used in a wide variety of products including shampoos, hair conditioners and other hair products, bath soaps and cleansing products.

Provides excellent moisturization and lubricity. An excellent conditioner and it imparts a smooth, velvety feel. It inhibits the buildup of static electricity and dries to form a thin coating that is absorbed onto the hair shaft. Also helps hair hold its style by inhibiting the hair’s ability to absorb moisture.
A very good detangler and provides slip for easier wet-combing. In addition, it will add softness and shine to dry hair.
Used in skin care formulations to improve glide, provide softness and hydration. It is non toxic and safe.

Applications: Shampoos, creams, body lotions, body wash, baby shampoo, bubble baths, conditioners, soaps, and shaving cream
