PEG -120 METHYL GLUCOSE DIOLEATE

Glucamate™ DOE-120 thickener by Lubrizol is a naturally derived grade. It is methyl glucose ether which has been esterified with oleic acid. It is mild, non-irritating to the eyes and offers light feel. It enables formulations that are easy to pour and have aesthetically pleasing foaming properties. Glucamate™ DOE-120 thickener is used in shampoos, body washes, liquid soaps, baby shampoos, intimate & mild cleansers.

Recommended use levels range from 0.1% to 5.0%, depending on application and
amount of thickening required.

To use Glucamate™ DOE-120, you typically add it to the heated water phase of a surfactant-based product, such as shampoo or body wash, and mix until it is fully dissolved. It functions as a highly efficient, naturally derived thickener and viscosity builder. 

Mix the formulation continuously until the Glucamate™ DOE-120 is uniformly dissolved. For the solid flake form, maintaining the temperature above 70°C during this step is crucial for achieving the proper viscosity.
